At copain.e, every piece is made in Paris after you order it. Nothing is made in advance, nothing is made in excess.
How does it work?
- You pre-order your piece during the campaign.
- When it closes, we start production in our partner workshop in Paris.
- Your piece is shipped 4 to 8 weeks after the campaign ends. We'll write to you at every step.
Why does COPAIN.E work on pre-order?
Because we refuse to produce before knowing what will actually be worn. Your orders tell us what to make and how many: no more, no less. It's our way of not adding to the overstock that weighs on the textile industry.
How long will I wait after ordering?
The estimated delivery date is shown on every product page, before you even order. Allow 4 to 8 weeks between your order and delivery: the time of the pre-order and of making your piece in Paris. If anything delays the making of your piece, we'll let you know by email straight away.
When will I be charged?
When you pre-order. This payment lets us reserve the fabric and set the workshop in motion. Payment is fully secure.
What if I change my mind?
Before production starts, simply cancel and you'll be refunded in full to your original payment method. Just write to us at contact@copaine.com. Once production has started, you can still return your piece within 21 days of receiving it. Our return conditions are shown on every product page.
What if the size isn't right?
You can always return your piece once you've received it and ask for another size: for every production run, we make a few extra pieces for exactly that. Unsure before ordering? Check the size guide, or write to us: we'll help you choose. Do follow us, too: we regularly hold pop-ups where you can see and try on the pieces. And if you live in or around Paris, we can arrange a private fitting.
Are all your pieces made in France?
In Paris, every single one. Each piece is made in our partner workshop in Paris, once the pre-orders are in.
If I don't pre-order, can I buy from stock?
Unfortunately not: our pieces exist on pre-order only, by choice. It's what allows us to make limited series as precisely as possible, rather than in volume.
