Rather than drawings calling for fabrics, here it is the fabrics, their hand, their drape, their provenance, that drew the pieces of our first capsule, designed and made in Paris.
We wanted the silhouettes both fluid and structured: they move easily with the body and express a confident, thoughtful approach to fashion.

What if the fabric came before the design?
For this first capsule, copain.e chose to start from the dormant fabrics of luxury houses: noble materials that had already passed through demanding mills and workshops, but were never made into pieces. Rather than a design calling for a fabric, here it is the fabric, its rarity, its drape, its provenance, that draws the piece. Limited quantities, available only once, for series that are unique by nature.

At copain.e, nothing is made before it is chosen. You order, the requests come together, then production begins in Paris, in our partner workshop. The wait isn't a flaw in the model, it is its very principle: make only what is truly wanted, rather than anticipating volumes that end up as overstock. Fewer pieces, more intention, for those who already know what they want.
